  6. Provision of Services Related to the Use of Our Website
    1. Description and Scope of Data Processing
Our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the requesting computer during every use of our services. Only the IP address of the users and the screen resolution of the user's device are collected.
    2. Purpose of Data Processing
The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary for the operation of our website to enable the delivery of services to the user's computer. For this purpose, the user's IP address must be stored for the duration of the session.
Storage in log files is done to ensure the functionality of the services. Furthermore, the data is used for optimizing the services and ensuring the security of our information technology systems. Data analysis for marketing purposes is carried out only in exceptional cases, and it is never related to personal marketing.
Our legitimate interest in data processing is based on these purposes.
    3. Duration of Storage
Data is retained for as long as it is necessary to achieve the purpose of its collection. In the case of data collected to provide services, this is the case when the respective session is terminated. In the case of data stored in log files, this occurs no later than 6 months.
Information voluntarily provided to us (e.g., through contact forms or ticketing) is retained as long as necessary to achieve the purpose of its collection or until it is requested for deletion by the data subjects.
  7. Use of Cookies
    1. Description and Scope of Data Processing
We use cookies to make it easier for you to use our website and tailor it to your needs. Cookies are small text files stored on your computer through your browser.
If you visit our website for the first time, a banner appears on our website to inform you about the use of cookies. If you delete the cookies, the banner will reappear the next time you visit our website to inform you again.
Only display settings are stored and transmitted in these cookies.
You have the option to configure your internet browser to prevent cookies from being stored or to delete cookies at any time through your internet browser. However, this may result in limitations to the functionality or user-friendliness of our website.
    2. Evaluation Tool
We use Google Analytics on our websites. This is a third-party service located in Ireland, where Google Ireland relies on Google LLC (based in the USA) as a data processor (both "Google," www.google.com). This allows us to measure and evaluate the use of the website (non-personally identifiable) using permanent cookies set by the service provider. While we may assume that the information we share with Google is not personal data for Google, it is possible that Google could draw conclusions about the identity of visitors, create personal profiles, and link this data with the Google accounts of these individuals. If you have registered with the service provider yourself, the service provider is also aware of you. The processing of your personal data by the service provider is then the responsibility of the service provider according to its privacy policy. The service provider only informs us about how our respective website is used (no personal information). This includes:
      (1) Information about the browser type and version
      (2) The user's operating system
      (3) The user's internet service provider
      (4) The user's IP address
      (5) Date and time of access
      (6) Websites from which the user's system accessed our website
      (7) Websites accessed by the user's system through our website
  8. Use of External Links
Our websites may contain links to websites of third parties that are not affiliated with us and that may use cookies themselves. In particular, we also provide links to social networks (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and Vimeo). After clicking on a link or viewing an embedded video, we no longer have any influence over the collection, storage, and processing of data transferred directly to the third party. We do not assume responsibility for the processing of such data by third parties. Please refer to the privacy notices of the respective third party for information about the purpose and scope of data collection, processing, and use, as well as options for protecting your privacy.
  9. Additional Data Processing
We offer you the option to voluntarily transmit data to us via email or a contact form, for example, to enable us to contact you directly regarding inquiries or concerns or to provide you with additional information and newsletters. We request that you only provide data that we need to process your request or inquiry.
We also reserve the right to further use and store the data provided if required by legal obligations or if governmental or judicial orders require such actions.
  10. Purpose of Data Processing
The purpose of using technically necessary cookies is to simplify the use of services for users and fulfill the purposes of our association (according to the association's statutes). Some functions of our services cannot be offered without the use of cookies. For these functions, it is necessary for the browser to be recognized even after a page change. Only cookies for display settings of the user's device are stored.
User data collected through technically necessary cookies is not used to create user profiles.
Our legitimate interest in processing personal data is based on these purposes.
  11. Duration of Storage, Objection, and Removal Options
Cookies are stored on the user's computer and transmitted to our services. Therefore, as a user, you have full control over the use of cookies. You can deactivate or restrict the transmission of cookies by changing the settings in your internet browser and/or device. Cookies that have already been stored can be deleted at any time, including automatically. If cookies are deactivated for our services, some functions of the services may no longer be fully usable.
  12. Data Disclosure and International Data Transfer
Data is not transferred abroad, except to the parties mentioned in this privacy statement.
  13. Cooperation with External Partners
In the context of providing, operating, and maintaining our website, we collaborate with external data processors (namely, Hostpoint AG, Switzerland). Our data processors and data recipients are bound by contract.
Most of our data processors and partners are located within Switzerland and the EU-EEA area.
Depending on the situation, other recipients of your data may also include companies and manufacturers abroad in the EU-EEA area.
  14. Rights of the Data Subject
If your personal data is processed by us, you are a data subject within the meaning of applicable data protection laws. You can contact the responsible person directly via the contact form for questions or concerns.
You have the right to obtain information about your stored data and its processing, request the correction of incorrect personal data, request the deletion of your stored data, request the restriction of data processing, and request data portability. You also have the right to object to the processing of your data by us.
Please note that, in order to examine a data subject's rights, we must verify your identity beyond doubt. If you wish to lodge a complaint with our competent supervisory authority, we will be happy to provide you with the address and contact details:
